David J. Colmans, Executive Director
Georgia Insurance Information Service
Mr. Colmans is a veteran trade association and marketing communications executive, and he worked for more than a decade as an electronic journalist in the southeastern United States.
He helped develop the Georgia Insurance Information Service (GIIS) in 1994 and became its executive officer in April, 1997.
Since 1990, Mr. Colmans has been president of Colmans Communications Group, Inc., a marketing consultancy focusing on trade associations management, technology and health care.
His professional specialties include:

- Healthcare and technology marketing, and
- Software development for the marketing communications industry.
Mr. Colmans was awarded his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri.
