High School Teachers Guide:
An Overview of Property and Casualty Insurance
The Georgia Insurance Information web site provides the public with a considerable amount of information about property and casualty insurance as well as safety issues in the area of auto, renters, homeowners and workers compensation insurance.
GIIS is available to provide one or more speakers for classes at high schools where the topics of driving safety, home safety, disaster/severe weather preparedness or the mathematics of how personal insurance works for us as individuals.
The following, originally prepared by Ms. Brenda Levinson of Milton High School, is a question guide for involving students prior to the speaker's arrival. These questions were answered by each student in the class in advance and turned in at the beginning of the class. The work was graded and reviewed with the class a few days later.
